Connect Laptop to Roku TV: A Comprehensive Guide

Roku TVs are popular streaming devices that offer access to a wide variety of content. If you’re looking to extend your laptop’s display to your Roku TV, or if you want to stream content from your laptop to your TV, there are a few different ways to do it.

Wireless Connection

The easiest way to connect your laptop to Roku TV is wirelessly. Here’s how:

Make sure that both your laptop and Roku TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
On your laptop, open the Control Panel and click on “Network and Internet.”
Click on “Network and Sharing Center.”
In the left-hand pane, click on “Change adapter settings.”
Right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select “Properties.”
Click on the “Sharing” tab.
Check the box next to “Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection.”
Click on “OK.”

Now, on your Roku TV:

Press the “Home” button on your Roku remote.
Scroll down and select “Settings.”
Select “Network.”
Select “Wireless.”
Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your password.
