In order to proceed, install the proper graphics device driver then check the graphics drive before applying rotation.

Rotate Screen Shortcut Keys for Intel Graphics
Intel explains the following easy shortcut keys that will work in Windows 10 and 11 or other operating systems as well to rotate the screen for Intel graphics. These keyboard shortcuts are very useful in different scenarios.

Rotate Screen For NVIDIA / AMD Graphics
The AMD graphics control panel is used to rotate the screen apart from the Windows display orientation option. Follow the following steps on AMD graphics to rotate your display screen.
- Right click on desktop (empty space) > Click NVIDIA Control Panel
- In the NVIDIA Control Panel go to Display> Rotate Display > Choose desired screen rotation.
Note: You may have different NVIDIA and AMD graphics (AMD Catalyst Control Center and others )control panel names, choose accordingly. If you have multiple display screens attached then choose which display’s orientation you want to change.
How to Rotate Screen on Acer Laptop?
The screen rotation method works the same as mentioned above on most Windows based Acer models like Acer Aspire, Swift, Nitro, Predator, Travelmate, ConceptD, Spin, and Chromebooks.

How to Rotate Screen on Dell Laptop?
The method to rotate the screen on Dell is the same as mentioned above for Intel, Nvidia, and AMD graphics chips with one exception.
Dell has recently announced that CTRL + ALT + Arrow keys will not work for screen orientation on 6th Generation or newer Dell systems equipped with Intel-integrated graphics.
The Rotate screen option will be available under the orientation setting of the Operating System Display Settings. Here is the path.

How to Rotate Screen On HP Laptop?
HP laptops which support rotation by default, specifically 2 in 1 laptops, screen rotation is quite easy.

This method uses Windows Action Center. Inf order to rotate screen through WAC
- Press Windows logo key + A or Click its icon on right bottom corner near clock
- Locate Rotation Lock Icon to rotate screen.
Alternatively, you can change screen orientation from settings as mentioned above. These methods should work on all Windows based HP laptops (HP Envy, EliteBook, Pavilion ).

Android is another operating system, just like Windows, so it supports different methods to rotate the screen. There are 2 simple methods for rotating your Chromebook screen.
